Financial Advisor
Karen holds an MBA and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, one of the highest credentials available in the financial planning field. Fewer than 20 percent of practicing financial advisors in the industry can claim ownership of this rigorous distinction.
In December of 2024, Curran & Keegan merged with ShorePoint Advisory Group to enhance the collaborative team environment and its ability to deliver premier client service.
Karen’s interest in financial consulting began with a decade-long career in academic fundraising at Smith College, where she helped donors craft sophisticated giving plans to meet their charitable and personal goals.
Karen takes pride in being actively involved in the community. She is a member of the board of directors and finance for Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Karen also served on the boards of several other vital non-profit organizations in her community, including Safe Passage, Hampshire Regional YMCA, and the Northampton Survival Center.
