Financial Paraplanner
Ruth joined Curran & Keegan in 2020 after a long career as a paralegal, which began in NYC. It was there that she was introduced to the securities industry by working at global asset management firms, culminating in the responsibility of establishing institutional legal departments in London and Hong Kong. Ruth’s inquisitiveness, keen eye for detail, and love of data and analysis established a foundation for understanding the importance of knowing where and how your money is invested. Ruth obtained FINRA’s Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®). She holds the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation from the College for Financial Planning® and recently obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) through Fi360, a Broadridge® Company.
Ruth resides in Northampton and is an elected member of the Board of Trustees for Forbes Library and chair of the finance committee. She is also a member of the Pioneer Valley Estate Planning Council.
